The Lake Isle of Innisfree

이니스프리의 호수섬[湖島]

I will arise and go now, and go to Innisfree,

나 일어나 이제 가리, 이니스프리로 가리.

And a small cabin build there, of clay and wattles made:

거기 욋가지 엮어 진흙 바른 작은 오두막을 짓고,

Nine bean-rows will I have there, a hive for the honey-bee,

아홉 이랑 콩밭과 꿀벌통 하나

And live alone in the bee-loud glade.　

벌 윙윙대는 숲 속에 나 혼자 살으리.

And I shall have some peace there,

거기서 얼마쯤 평화를 맛보리.

for peace comes dropping slow,

평화는 천천히 내리는 것.

Dropping from the veils of the morning to where the cricket sings;

아침의 베일로부터 귀뚜라미 우는 곳에 이르기까지.

There midnight's all a glimmer,

한밤엔 온통 반짝이는 빛

and noon a purple glow,

한낮엔 보라빛 환한 기색

And evening full of the linnet's wings.　

저녁엔 홍방울새의 날개 소리 가득한 그 곳.

I will arise and go now, for always night and day

나 일어나 이제 가리, 밤이나 낮이나

I hear lake water lapping with low sounds by the shore;

호숫가에 철썩이는 낮은 물결 소리 들리나니

While I stand on the roadway, or on the pavements gray,

한길 위에 서 있을 때나 회색 포도 위에 서 있을 때면

I hear it in the deep heart's core

내 마음 깊숙이 그 물결 소리 들리네.
